First imagined as a board game, Crisis? What Crisis? Was my first immersive show as a writer. Set in 1979 and challenging players to fix Britain’s ‘Winter of Discontent’, its dramatic potential was recognised and realised by Parabolic Theatre artistic director Owen Kingston, who co-created the show with me and served as its director.

In 2019 we premiered to rave reviews, taking over not one but two dilapidated office spaces to give audiences a uniquely interactive period experience with multiple possible endings.

In 2021, a bigger and better revival of the show launched the New Diorama Theatre’s Reset Season, once again selling out. After a sold out extension, the show closed with plans in place for a future return.
